Danny deLaveaga

Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Ioterra

Danny deLaveaga has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Their most recent role was as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Reno Seed Fund, where they focused on driving innovation and creating jobs in Northern Nevada. Prior to that, they held the same role at Omni Venture Labs, a deeptech VC firm with connections in Silicon Valley.

Previously, Danny served as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Ioterra, an ecosystem dedicated to IoT product development. Danny was also an Advisory Board Member at Nevada Industry Excellence, representing the MEP National Network in Nevada. Additionally, they served as Communications for the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows YLC, aiming to promote the growth and development of the organization.

Earlier in their career, Danny was the VP of Growth Operations at Dascena, a science and technology company developing algorithms for predictive biomarkers. Danny was also the Co-Founder and COO of Breadware, an engineering firm specializing in IoT product design and production. Prior to that, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at STEL and a Mechanical Engineer at Santa Barbara Imaging Systems, Inc. Danny also served as a Senior Lecturer at UCSB College of Engineering.

Throughout their various roles, Danny has demonstrated expertise in entrepreneurship, strategy, IoT product development, and mechanical engineering.

Danny deLaveaga attended UC Santa Barbara from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
