Phil Wilkinson

Phil Wilkinson is the current head of product and engineering at IOTICS. Phil has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry and has held leadership positions at Flexera and BDNA Corporation.

Wilkinson began their career at BDNA Corporation in June 2016 as the site manager. Phil was responsible for establishing the Belfast operation, hiring the initial teams, and coordinating the sourcing and fitout of the office. Under Wilkinson's leadership, the Belfast site quickly gained a reputation for innovation, talent, and progress.

In September 2017, Wilkinson joined Flexera as the senior director of engineering. In this role, they were responsible for leading Flexera's data segment with 140 employees across various products, including the Data Platform, IT Visibility, Software Vulnerability Manager, AdminStudio, Secunia Research, and Technopedia. Additionally, Wilkinson created and coordinated the FESS (Flexera Engineering and Support Summit) conference.

In May 2021, Wilkinson was appointed as the head of product and engineering at IOTICS. In this role, they are responsible for leading IOTICS' product and engineering team.

Phil Wilkinson has a MEng in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Queen's University Belfast. Phil also has certification from AIIM International in ECM Master, Coursera Course Certificates in Machine Learning from Stanford University, Andrew Ng, and Oracle in Certified SQL Expert. Lastly, they have a certification from Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) in Investment Administration Qualification.

Phil Wilkinson reports to Ian Orrock, Co-Founder & Eexecutive Chairman. They work with John Hicklin - Partnership Development Director, Martine Ridderbos - Head of People & Culture.
