Sophie Peachey has worked in a variety of roles since 1999. Sophie began their career as an Editor at the Training Standards Council, where they edited inspection reports on work-based training and produced briefing reports for government on training standards and equal opportunities. In 2002, they moved to ENKON Information Systems as Vice President of European Operations, working with clients to analyse business processes, design and implement information management solutions, and provide help documentation and training. In 2009, they took on the role of Project Development Coordinator at Practical Action Consulting, responding to competitive bids to win project opportunities for the consulting wing of the charity. In 2010, they joined CCL (Independent Consulting) Ltd as Funding and Promotions Manager, looking for funding opportunities for clients to exceed their own expectations. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as a Freelance consultant and at Axillium Research, first as Head of Insight and Innovation and then as Director of Operations. In 2016, they joined IOTICS as Business Development Director, Head of Customer Success, and Collaborative Business Development. Finally, in 2020, they became a Board Member at Emergent Alliance.
Sophie Peachey attended Stratford-upon-Avon Grammar School for Girls from 1984 to 1987, and then went on to The Manchester Metropolitan University, where they obtained a B.Sc. (Hons) in Psychology between 1987 and 1990.
