Sam Meer

Sam Meer has over a decade of work experience in various roles within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.

Starting at CRB in 2009 as a Process Engineer, Sam then moved to CSL Behring in 2011 in the same role. From there, Sam joined Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals in 2012, where they held positions as a Business Systems Project Manager and later as part of the Transformation Office, managing lean principles and transformational change within the company.

In 2015, Sam joined Curium Pharma as the Materials Manager of Nuclear Supply Chain, overseeing the sourcing and supply of radioactive materials. Sam then returned to Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals in 2016, first as a Manager of Global Indirect Procurement, then as a Senior Manager of Global Operations & Procurement, and finally as Director of Business Operations, managing the supply chain and procurement during the COVID-19 crisis.

Most recently, Sam joined Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc. in 2020 as Director of Commercial Manufacturing, and has since been promoted to Senior Director of Commercial Manufacturing. In this role, they are focused on the development and commercialization of autologous cellular immunotherapies.

Sam Meer attended Washington University in St. Louis from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering.
