Diego Gutiérrez Zaldívar

Diego Gutiérrez Zaldívar has extensive experience in the technology and blockchain industry. Diego currently serves as the CEO of IOVLabs (formerly RIF Labs) since 2018. Prior to this, they were the CEO & Co-Founder of RSK Labs (a.k.a. Rootstock) from 2015, where they focused on creating a decentralized platform that could provide financial services to the unbanked population in Latin America.

Diego also worked as a Strategic Advisor at Koibanx since 2015, where they helped develop Blockchain-as-a-Service platforms for traditional financial institutions and corporations. In addition, they founded SystemaD in 2015 and Bitcoin Argentina NGO in 2013, where they set up a network of Bitcoin communities across Latin America.

Diego has also been involved in various other roles, including President of Bitcoin Argentina ONG, Investor & Co-Founder of Restocoins.com, Arraiga, and Cero a Cien. Diego was the owner of Xinergia, where they provided web entrepreneurs with mentoring and infrastructure support for their projects. Their work experience reflects their dedication to promoting blockchain technology and financial inclusion in Latin America.

Diego Gutiérrez Zaldívar attended Instituto Libre de Segunda Enseñanza (ILSE) from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachiller degree in Orientación Humanística. Prior to that, they attended Escuela Nro 26 Adolfo Van Gelderen from 1982 to 1987, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Buenos Aires, starting in 1993 and continuing without a specified end year.
