Sara Jones

Sara Jones is an experienced educator currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at the Dallas Center-Grimes Community School District since May 2023, and as a Curriculum Developer for the Iowa Department of Education since July 2022. Prior to these roles, Sara worked as a Title 1 Teacher at Heartland AEA from July 2020 to May 2023, a 3rd Grade Teacher at Sacred Heart School in West Des Moines from August 2015 to July 2020, and held positions as a Pre-School Teacher at Lil Scholars Preschool and KID'S COMPANY between June 2010 and July 2015. Sara holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and Teaching from Morningside University (2023) and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Briar Cliff University (2010).
