Samuel Hiscocks

Samuel Hiscocks, CPM, is a seasoned transportation planner with extensive experience at the Iowa Department of Transportation since September 2012, serving as Transportation Planner II, where responsibilities include coordinating multimodal freight transportation planning, managing data collection and analysis, and conducting stakeholder outreach. Prior roles include Transportation Planner I and Cartographic Analyst, focusing on data compilation, GIS database management, and map accuracy for transportation planning efforts. Earlier experience includes internships with the Iowa Economic Development Authority and the Region XII Council of Governments, as well as a research assistantship at Iowa State University. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Science in Community and Regional Planning and Environmental Studies from Iowa State University and is a graduate of the Certified Public Manager Program at Drake University.
