Coordinator Transitional Housing And Legal Advocate at Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma

Christopher McKosato currently serves as the Coordinator of Transitional Housing and Legal Advocate for the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma since May 2022. Previous experience includes various roles at the Payne County Sheriff from July 2012 to January 2023, notably as a Field Deputy and instructor for de-escalation and tactical tracking. From 2003 to 2013, Christopher volunteered as a firefighter and worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma. Additional experience includes serving as a tribal police officer from 2005 to 2012 and as a wildland firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service from March 2002 to March 2012. Educational background includes training from Oklahoma State University, CLEET, FLETC, and the federal law enforcement training center.
