Fred Hoogenboom

Fred Hoogenboom is an experienced sales and technology executive with a robust background in networking and telecommunications. Currently serving as the Vice President of Sales for Asia Pacific at IP Infusion since July 2023, Fred leads initiatives to empower service providers and network operators through innovative Open Networking solutions. Previously held roles include Global Commercial Head of the Wireless Division at NEC Corporation and Head of Critical Infrastructure and 5G at NEC Australia, where Fred managed significant budgets and developed strategic solutions. With over two decades of experience at Cisco, including leadership positions that focused on sales, engineering, and strategic alliances, Fred has built a strong reputation for driving business growth and shaping technology strategies across the Asia Pacific region. Fred's academic credentials include a Master of Science degree in Micro Electronics from Katholieke Hogeschool Brugge-Oostende.
