Shalender Sharma

Shalender is a development expert with two decades’ experience of working in the education and skills development (ESD) sector with organisations like UNESCO, UNICEF, ADB, The World Bank, DFID, National and State Governments. During his career, he has directed, managed and worked as specialist on various large-scale transformation projects and business process reengineering assignments for national and international organisations. As the Director of the Education and Skills Development Practice at IPE Global, Shalender is undertaking variety of roles including policy formulation, program designing and on-ground implementation. In this role, Shalender offers strategic direction and guidance to business in this area and helps position it as a best-in-class offering for clients and stakeholders. Prior to joining IPE in 2013, he worked for 15 years with MHRD (as Chief Consultant) and with NUEPA/NIEPA (as Project Associate Fellow).
