Prasanna V Kannan

Prasanna V Kannan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in test systems for automobile control systems and components. Currently serving as Manager Test Systems at IPG Automotive since November 2012, Prasanna leads a multidisciplinary team in developing cutting-edge test systems, particularly in the ADAS/AD domain, while managing customer projects. Previous roles include Senior Engineer focused on dynamic E-Motor controllers and complex HIL test benches, and Engineer in the Service Team, specializing in worldwide technical support and hardware integration. Prasanna's career began as a Project Engineer at The Automotive Research Association of India, where contributions included developing safety algorithms for critical automotive systems and using HIL for validation. Prasanna holds a Master of Engineering in Software Engineering for Embedded Systems from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
