Adolfo Chin

Adolfo Chin has extensive experience in corporate development, business development, strategy, and general management leadership. Adolfo currently serves as the VP of Corporate Development at IPG Photonics since September 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of VP of Business Development at AMETEK Electronic Instruments Group from November 2008 to August 2022. Adolfo also worked as the VP of Business Development at AMETEK Aerospace and Defense from September 2007 to November 2008. Adolfo gained experience in strategy and business unit management as the Director of Strategy and Business Unit Manager at Carrier Corporation, United Technologies from January 2005 to August 2007 and from September 2000 to January 2005, respectively. Adolfo also served as the Chairman of the Board at Scroll Technologies from June 2003 to July 2005. Adolfo began their career as a General Management Leadership Associate at Carrier United Technologies from August 1998 to September 2000.

Adolfo Chin completed their MBA at Purdue University Daniels School of Business from 1996 to 1998. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Costa Rica, where they studied from 1990 to 1994.
