Kazuyo Katsura has had a diverse and extensive work experience spanning different industries and roles. Starting in 1996, they worked at JPMorganChase as a Finance Officer, gaining experience in various finance areas and leadership roles. Kazuyo then joined GE Healthcare in 2004, where they served as a Technical Controller and later as a Manager of Controllership & Tax. In 2012, they moved to BASF, taking on different managerial positions, including Manager of Sub-regional Controlling Japan, Head of Controlling Japan, and Senior Manager of Global Controlling, Battery Materials. Kazuyo joined Microsoft in 2018 as the CDS Japan Controller for Japan Consumer and Devices Sales. Recently, in 2020, they became the Finance Controller and Director of HR & GA at IPG Photonics. Kazuyo Katsura's work experience showcases their expertise in finance, leadership, and controlling roles across multiple industries.
Kazuyo Katsura completed their Bachelor of Arts in Commerce from Waseda University in 1994. Kazuyo later pursued a Master of Arts in Law from the same university, graduating in 1996. In 2003, Kazuyo obtained an MBA in Management from Imperial College London.
