Paulus Bucher

Paulus Bucher currently serves as Senior Vice President of Global Operations at IPG Photonics, a position held since July 2025. Prior to this role, Paulus held similar leadership positions, including Senior Vice President of Global Operations at Adtran from January 2023 to June 2025 and Chief Operating Officer at ADVA from April 2010 to December 2022. Further experience includes Director of European Operations at CommScope, Director of Electromechanics Sourcing and Head of Operations for Central Europe at Ericsson, and Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager at Bosch Telecom. Paulus holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University, a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, and a Dipl.Ing.(FH) in Mechanical Engineering from RheinMain University of Applied Sciences.
