Brent Barker

Brent Barker has over three decades of experience in software engineering and database administration. Currently serving as a Database Administrator at iPipeline since November 2009, Brent specializes in DB2 database architecture and engineering for IBM i systems, as well as the implementation of stored procedure interfaces between databases and Java applications. Previous roles include Applications Developer and DB2 DBA at AgencyWorks and Crump Insurance, where notable contributions involved consulting for Westin Hotels and Resorts on programming their bonus and miles program in Cobol on AS400 systems. Brent's career began in applications programming at America First Credit Union and included technical consulting at Big O Tires. Additionally, Brent served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in South Africa. Educational credentials include a BS in Software Engineering and Networking from Weber State University and a certificate in Computer Programming and Repair from Certified Careers Institute.
