Ida Murphy

Ida Murphy has a diverse range of work experience in the field of IT and management. Ida began their career at GE Money Bank and FUJITSU CONSULTING LIMITED as an Application Specialist. Ida then moved on to Bord Gáis Energy as an IT Applications Manager. Next, they worked at Irish Water as the Head of IT, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining IT systems. Following that, they served as the Head of Shared Services IT at Ervia, overseeing IT systems and projects across the company. Currently, Ida holds the position of Chief Information Officer at IPL, where they are responsible for developing and implementing the IT strategy. Ida also manages the IT budget, relationships with vendors, and IT risk management.

Ida Murphy attended Limerick Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1992, studying Computer Software Engineering.
