Head Of Product, Growth And Innovation at iProov

Malcolm Sloan has a diverse work experience spanning a range of industries and roles. Malcolm is currently working at iProov as the Head of Product, Growth, and Innovation, a position they started in September 2022. Prior to this, Malcolm was a Product Manager at iProov from December 2021 to October 2022.

Before joining iProov, Malcolm worked at SIF Health, where they held various positions. Malcolm started as the Founder, CEO, and Product Lead in January 2016 and remained in this role until October 2021 when the business was sold. During their time at SIF Health, they successfully grew and scaled a B2B and B2B2C SaaS software business and led two successful investment rounds.

Malcolm also has experience working at PA Consulting, where they served as a Principal Consultant from January 2018 to December 2018, and as a Consultant from March 2016 to December 2018. In these roles, they gained extensive training and experience in Agile, Scrum, JIRA, Prince 2, Systems Engineering, Design Thinking, and MODAF enterprise architecture framework.

Additionally, Malcolm has worked at the UK Ministry of Defence, starting in April 2011. Malcolm held roles such as Strategy and Relationship Lead for Cyber and Digital, Home office secondment as Head of Threat for Wales and the 2014 NATO Summit, and Workstream Lead for the 2012 Olympics.

Malcolm took a career break to travel Central and South America in early 2011. Prior to that, they worked at the UK Ministry of Defence as a Senior Desk Officer from September 2009 to January 2011, and as a Desk Officer from September 2007 to September 2009.

Their earlier experiences include working as a Travel Consultant at STA Travel, and as a Business Development and Foreign Currency Trading professional at Corporate FX. Malcolm also participated in the Barclays Business Leadership Graduate Scheme and worked as a Business Relationship Manager at Barclays.

In their early career, Malcolm engaged in documentary making with a table football table, traveling to the 2002 World Cup under the venture "23 Sweet FAs."

Malcolm Sloan has a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Geography from The University of Sheffield. Malcolm attended this university from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, Malcolm studied at Tanbridge House School from 1991 to 1996, and then at Collyers from 1996 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, Malcolm has obtained certifications in Human Centred Design from CFTE - Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship in November 2022, and in Product Academy Fundamentals from McKinsey & Company in October 2022.
