Panos Papadopoulos

Panos Papadopoulos, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of security and privacy research. Panos is currently serving as the Head of Red Team at iProov since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Security Consultant at iProov from 2021 to 2022. Panos also worked as a Security and Privacy Research Scientist at Telefónica from 2020 to 2021. Panos has experience working as a Security Consultant at DataSpartan from September 2020 to October 2020. Before that, they served as a Security Research Scientist at Brave Software from September 2018 to August 2020. Panos has also worked as a Research Assistant at ICS-FORTH from March 2014 to September 2018. Panos Papadopoulos has teaching experience as well, having been involved in teaching activities at the University of Crete from 2012 to July 2018. Panos has worked as a Short Term Visitor at Queen Mary University of London in October 2017. Moreover, they held research intern positions at Telefonica I+D in 2016 and 2015, where they conducted research on privacy implications and the monetary cost of user data on the web. Panos'swork has been published in various peer-reviewed conferences and journals.

Panos Papadopoulos, PhD, completed their education in Computer Science at the University of Crete. Panos obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from 2006 to 2011. Panos went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from 2012 to 2014 at the same institution. Panos further advanced their studies and research in Computer Science by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from 2014 to 2018, again at the University of Crete.
