Obed Chavez Gaspar

Obed Chavez Gaspar is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry with a background in slickline operations and production logging. Currently serving as a Slickline Supervisor at IPS since December 2021, Obed specializes in rigging up and down WHE and accessories for slickline units, along with heavy-duty fishing tasks. Prior roles include Engineer MPLT Specialist at MAVOIL GROUP and ISH, where Obed was responsible for assembling, programming, and operating Memory Production Logging Tools. Obed's career began at Halliburton de Mexico and continued at Micro Smart System de Mexico in similar slickline supervisory positions. Obed holds a degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de Cerro Azul, Veracruz, Mexico, completed in 2007.
