Abbie Farnworth

Abbie Farnworth is currently the Technical Manager for Ipswich Borough Council, overseeing the Ipswich theatres including The Regent, Corn Exchange, and Town Hall, since November 2021. In addition, Abbie serves as a Casual Theatre Technician at The Spa Pavilion Theatre. Previous experience includes roles such as Senior Customs Process Administrator at A.P. Moller - Maersk, Stage Manager for The Gallery Players' presentation of The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and Crew Chief at Alexandra Palace and Park. Abbie's extensive background in stage management and technical project management spans various prestigious establishments, including Glyndebourne and the Royal Horticultural Society, where responsibilities have included liaising with production teams, overseeing production processes, and ensuring cost-effectiveness. Abbie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Stage Management from Rose Bruford College.
