Rich Carpenter

Rich Carpenter has a diverse background in facility and operations management, with experience in the sports industry. Rich'smost recent role was as the Head of Operations at Ipswich Town FC, where they developed departmental strategies for the club's stadium and training ground facilities. Prior to that, they were a Venue Manager at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, responsible for the planning and delivery of event services. Rich also held positions as the Head of Training Ground Facilities at Liverpool Football Club, Head of Facility Operations at Aston Villa Football Club, and Facilities Manager at West Bromwich Albion Football Club. Early in their career, they worked as an Operations Duty Manager at Loughborough Sport, where they managed high-performance sports facilities. Throughout their various roles, Carpenter demonstrated expertise in managing budgets, implementing health and safety protocols, and leading teams.

Rich Carpenter attended Alderman Newtons School/College. Rich then went on to study at Loughborough University.
