Dan Phillips

Dan Phillips has had a diverse work experience spanning over 24 years. Dan currently serves as the Head of Market Regulation at IPSX since April 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Bloomberg LLP as the Chief Compliance Officer from May 2017 to February 2020. From November 2013 to April 2017, they held the role of Head of Compliance, Risk, and Finance at the London Derivatives Exchange. Before that, they worked briefly at Liquidnet Europe Ltd as a Compliance Manager in 2013. From August 2011 to August 2013, they served as the Revenue Assurance Manager at Markit. Dan'sprevious roles include Compliance Manager at Chi-X Europe Ltd from September 2007 to August 2011, Head of Internal Audit International at Instinet Europe Ltd from May 2006 to September 2007, and Assistant Audit Manager at Deutsche Bank from August 2003 to May 2006. Dan started their career at HSBC as an Assistant Audit Manager from January 2000 to August 2003. Dan began their professional journey as an Assistant Manager at KPMG from August 1996 to January 2000.

Dan Phillips attended the University of Strathclyde from 1992 to 1996, where they pursued a BA Hons degree in Accounting and Marketing.
