Sébastian Pilon

Sébastian Pilon has an extensive work experience in the field of software development. Sébastian started their career as a Project Manager at Groupe VIVA, where they worked closely with clients to understand their requirements and create media and websites for events. Sébastian then transitioned into a Fullstack Developer role at Groupe VIVA, where they developed survey websites, managed small teams of developers, and optimized mobile websites for improved user experience.

After that, Sébastian worked as a Front-End Developer at M2J Technologies Inc., where they integrated designs and created a seamless user experience for a high-traffic transactional website. Sébastian then joined Webia Inc. as a Principal Fullstack Developer, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining various projects, including a point-of-interest map, a barcode reading application, and a Prestashop website.

Sébastian also has experience as a Fullstack Developer at FlightHub, where they contributed to the development of various projects until March 2021. Sébastian then joined IPtoki as a Fullstack Developer, where they developed mobile applications, internal tools, and a realtime dashboard project using technologies such as React Native, Java, Node.js, and React.js.

In addition to their full-time roles, Sébastian has also worked as a Freelance Software Developer, undertaking various software development projects.

Sébastian Pilon completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal, from the years 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their DEC en Intégration Multimédia from Cégep de Saint-Jérôme, from 2009 to 2012. Earlier, in the years 2008 to 2009, they completed their DEC en Techniques informatique from Cégep de Valleyfield, specializing in Informatique.
