Darrell King

Director, Private Wealth, Americas at IQ-EQ

Darrell King is the Director of Private Wealth for the Americas at IQ-EQ. In this role, they are responsible for providing fiduciary services to support the movement of people and assets from one country to another, asset preservation, wealth transfer, and philanthropic interests. Darrell also oversees investment services to ensure diversification, independent management and oversight of assets, as well as access to hard to get opportunities.

Prior to joining IQ-EQ, Darrell was the Director of Business Development for the Americas at Stonehage Fleming. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing business development strategies to increase assets under management and expand the firm’s footprint in the US market.

Before joining Stonehage Fleming, Darrell was the Head of Intermediary Relationships for RBC Wealth Management in the United States. In this role, they were responsible for developing and managing relationships with third-party intermediaries, such as financial advisors, accountants, and lawyers.

Darrell King has a certification from the Advocis- The Financial Advisors Association of Canada in Certified Financial Planner. Darrell also has a certification from the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners in Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP).

They are on a team with Pete Unwin - Head, Private Wealth & Family Office, Middle East, Steve Sokić - Group Head, Private Wealth, and Jeremy Mahoney - Director, Private Wealth. Darrell King reports to Chip Martin, President, Private Wealth.
