Michael Thomas

Michael Thomas is a financial manager who currently works as the head of finance for IQ-EQ in Jersey. Michael has previous experience working as a director for group development at JTC Group and as a financial manager for Penta Investments. At Penta Investments, they were responsible for establishing the accounting and finance function for the Jersey office, managing the operations and financial records, setting the annual budget, and authorising company and project expenses. Michael was also involved in the fair value consolidation accounting for the entire Penta private equity group and quarterly reporting and audit process. In their previous position as assistant manager at Ernst & Young, they gained experience in auditing, accounting, and taxation. Michael holds a degree in accounting and finance from the University of Nottingham.

Michael Thomas has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Finance from the University of Durham and is currently pursuing an accounting degree from ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs.
