Eugenia Prescott

Eugenia Prescott, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Science Writer at IQ Solutions since January 2023. Previously, from October 2013 to November 2015, Eugenia worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, focusing on the role of CHAC1 in atherosclerosis and heart disease. Eugenia has experience as a Scientific Writing Editor at American Journal Experts and as a Biochemistry Instructor for the Summer Medical and Dental Education Program at Duke University. Additionally, during the doctoral studies at Duke University from 2005 to 2011, Eugenia conducted research on gene regulation related to histone proteins and earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry. Eugenia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Northern Iowa.
