Lyn Hepple

Lyn Hepple has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, starting in 2000 as a Combat Medic Class One in the British Army. From 2005 to 2009, Lyn worked as a Remote Site Medic at Frontier Medical. Lyn then transitioned to a role as a Support Worker at ID SUPPORT (Interactive Development) from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, Lyn joined The Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a Theatre Scrub Nurse, where they held various roles until 2018. Lyn then worked as a Damage Control Surgical Theatre/OR Nurse at Iqarus from 2018 to 2020, with a six-month seconded position as the damage control surgery team lead. From 2019 to 2022, Lyn worked as a Theatre Scrub Nurse at Spire Healthcare Group plc. In 2020, Lyn also had a role as a Critical Care Nurse at Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust. Currently, Lyn is working at Iqarus as a Project Manager starting from March 2022.

Lyn Hepple's education history begins in 2010 when they attended Northumbria University and obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Adult Health Nurse/Nursing. In the same year, Lyn also studied Spanish at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. In 2012, they participated in an ERASMUS exchange program at Universitat d'Alacant, focusing on Adult Health Nurse/Nursing.

In 2013, Lyn acquired a certification in General Nursing Practice from the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Moving forward to 2016, they pursued postgraduate studies at Northumbria University and completed a program in Facilitation of Learning (Mentorship) Level 7, specializing in Post Graduate Nursing CPD.

Throughout their education journey, Lyn has also obtained several additional certifications. In 2020, they completed Advanced Life Support (ALS) Level 3 (VTQ) training provided by ProTrainings Europe Ltd. Two years later, in 2022, Lyn received Advanced Life Support certification from the Resuscitation Council UK.
