Chris Santana has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Chris started their career at Raytheon in 1996 as a Production Manager, specializing in Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE). Chris then joined RFMD in 2000 and served as a Production Manager and later as Director Fab2 until 2012.
Since 2012, Chris has been working at IQE. Initially, they were appointed as General Manager of IQE-NC, a manufacturing facility specializing in semiconductor products. Their role involved managing a broad portfolio of products and technologies. Later, Chris took on the position of Group Director - Strategic Projects, where they played a key role in overseeing and executing strategic projects for the company.
Currently, Chris serves as the Global Sales Region Head for US East at IQE. In this role, they are responsible for managing sales operations and developing business strategies for the region.
Chris Santana obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Florida from 1987 to 1990. Chris then pursued a Master of Science degree in Materials Engineering at the same institution from 1990 to 1992. Finally, they completed a PhD in Materials Engineering at the University of Florida from 1992 to 1996.
