Job Summary

The Sales Enablement Manager is responsible for equipping the sales organization and channel partners with the training, tools, resources, and knowledge to effectively sell the company's software solutions to telecom and utility companies. This role develops sales enablement programs to increase revenue generation through optimized sales productivity, skill enhancement and just-in-time training. The ideal candidate has prior experience as a top-performing sales professional combined with instructional design and sales enablement expertise.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a comprehensive sales enablement strategy and operating plan to drive sales force effectiveness.
  • Create and deliver ongoing training programs that build sales teams' knowledge across the full portfolio of software products/services.
  • Develop tailored on-boarding plans to rapidly ramp new sales hires on product mastery, sales methodologies, tools and processes.
  • Build a world-class sales enablement tech stack by evaluating, implementing, and managing sales enablement tools (LMS, content management, virtual labs, guided selling, etc.)
  • Construct sales playbooks, battlecards and other enablement assets that communicate key differentiators, competitive positioning, and sales strategies.
  • Design and facilitate training workshops to enhance sales skills (prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiations, objection handling, etc.)
  • Partner with product management and marketing to transform technical data into compelling, customer-facing sales content/messaging
  • Gather and analyze metrics to measure effectiveness of enablement programs and iterate based on performance analytics
  • Serve as a resource to provide deal support, live call feedback and identify additional training needs
  • Enable consistency by documenting and upholding sales processes, methodologies and playbooks

Required Skills/Abilities

  • 5+ years experience in a Sales Enablement role, preferably in B2B software/SaaS
  • Knowledge of the Telecommunications industry an advantage
  • Proven track record as a successful, quota-carrying sales rep with expertise selling software solutions
  • Expertise with sales enablement technologies (LMS, content management, virtual environments, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of sales methodologies, processes, tools and best practices
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
