Job Summary

We are seeking a high energy, ambitious VP Sales to lead IQGeo Sales into the Tier 1 and 2 Telcom providers in North America. The role will be responsible for sales into new accounts and expanding the IQGeo footprint in their extensive existing customer base.  The VP Sales will manage a growing team of experienced enterprise sales and customer success directors maintaining and building the trusted relationships we have with our customers.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Leads a team of Enterprise Sales executives and Customer Success Directors.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue from the enterprise telecom market segment, achieving aggressive growth targets.

  • Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing enterprise sales team including sales executives and customer success directors.

  • Manage strategic account planning for named accounts to deeply understand requirements and position tailored solutions to improve our customers operations.

  • Oversee contract negotiations for multimillion dollar deals, working cross-functionally with legal, finance, engineering, and product teams.

  • Provide accurate and predictable revenue forecasts for the region.

  • Maintain executive relationships and participation at CXO levels within key accounts.

  • Leverage data and analytics to identify market trends, track pipeline metrics, and maximize sales productivity.

  • Provide leadership and collaborate with other functions including marketing, channels, services and support.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • 12+ years of quota-carrying enterprise telecom sales leadership experience, with a track record of overachievement

  • Proven ability to develop and lead a highly driven sales organization selling into the North American telecom market.

  • Proven ability to close large enterprise software solutions.

  • Demonstrated success driving new logo acquisitions as well as expansion within existing accounts.

  • Exceptional communications and executive presence to represent the company with customer and partner executives.

  • Expertise in pipeline management, forecasting, pricing, and contract negotiations

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovative sales approaches

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university in Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
