Barbara Arone

Barbara Arone has extensive experience in medical affairs and biostatistics, having served in various leadership roles at IQVIA from January 2015 to May 2018, including Vice President for Global Medical Affairs and Vice President of the Center for Advanced Evidence Generation, where Barbara focused on real-world evidence solutions and resource efficiency. As Global Head of Late Phase Biostatistics and Data Management, Barbara oversaw operations dedicated to observational and minimally interventional clinical research. Prior to IQVIA, Barbara held senior positions at Outcome and Outcome Sciences, enhancing service operations and project management. Barbara began her career as a Genetic Counselor at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and New England Medical Center. Educational credentials include a BA in Human Biology from Brown University and a Master's in Genetics from Sarah Lawrence College.
