Joel A. Pereira

Joel A. Pereira is an accomplished professional in the field of Outdoor Sports, currently serving as the Head of the Master Degree in Outdoor Sports at Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo since 2004. In addition to overseeing the Master's program, Joel Pereira has been an Associate Lecturer in the Sports and Leisure School since 2011, teaching various subjects related to Outdoor Sports, including canyoning, rope techniques, orienteering, mountain biking, and climbing. Joel A. Pereira is also a Rope Access Technician Level 2 with IRATA International and an International Canyoning Guide with the CIC. Furthermore, Joel Pereira is a shareholder in Tobogã - Portugal Canyoning Tours and Tobogã - Portugal Adventure Tours, both of which focus on promoting adventurous outdoor activities. Educationally, Joel A. Pereira holds a Specialist degree in Sport Sciences as well as a licenciatura in Basic Education with a focus on Physical Education and Sports Sciences from Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo.
