Alba Echarte

Alba Echarte is the current Academic Officer at IRB Barcelona. Prior to this, they worked as an intern at UNESCO in the Culture Sector - Cultural Heritage Management. Alba also worked as a consultant at SIRIS Academic where they were in charge of supporting project management and qualitative research for consultancy projects in the field of higher education and research. Alba has also been involved in the ISO 9001:2015 accreditation process of the company, supporting the preparation and realisation of the internal and external audits and the maintenance of the quality management system of the company.

Alba Echarte has a Diploma on Human Resources Management from Foment del Treball, a Master in Management of Cultural Heritage from Universitat de Barcelona, and a Bachelor in Alba'story with a field in Archaeology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

They are on a team with Leyre Caracuel - Academic Office Coordinator, Marcelo Mora - HR Generalist, and Ivet Grau - HR Assistant. Their manager is Maribel Labrid, Head of Human Resources & Academic Affairs.
