Alessandro MacCagnan

Alessandro Maccagnan has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 as a Post-doc research fellow at the University of Padova. In 2013, they co-founded CoffeeStrap, a language learning platform, where they served as the CTO until 2015. From 2014 to 2015, they participated in the RockStart Accelerator program. In 2015, they co-founded Redbabel, a firm that provides tech specialist services to companies, where they worked as a freelancer and software engineer. In 2016, Alessandro worked as a freelance web architect at Weborama Nederland and as a Javascript engineer and architect at Huisarts on Demand B.V. In 2017, they joined Irdeto as a Senior Web Architect, leading the architecture and development of tools for anti-piracy control. In 2019, Alessandro worked as a Lead Backend Software Engineer at foryouandyourcustomers.

Alessandro Maccagnan's education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Padova, which they earned from 2001 to 2004. Alessandro then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the same university from 2004 to 2007. Following that, they attended Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna from 2008 to 2011 and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science.
