Boryana Mileva has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Boryana began their career as an English as a Second Language teacher for children aged 4 to 12 at BRITANICA, where they created engaging learning experiences. Boryana then transitioned to a graphic designer role at Joko Print, specializing in creating printed materials for clients.
Afterwards, Boryana worked as an ESL teacher and taught students aged 5 to 14 at Pharos Schools of Languages and Computing. Boryana focused on individual lessons and group instruction to improve students' language skills. Following this, they gained experience in hospitality as a part-time hospitality worker at Verwiel en Wijngaard, providing service at various venues and events.
Boryana then pursued an internship as a graphic designer at Sapient-Social & Environmental Enterprises, where they created designs for Healthy & Affordable's social media and marketing needs. Boryana also maintained the company's website.
In 2021, Boryana started their own business as a freelance graphic designer under the name Mileva Graphic Design. Although they only completed a few projects as a freelancer, they kept their business open for future opportunities.
Most recently, Boryana has worked at Irdeto as a Junior Graphic Designer and later transitioned to the role of Graphic Designer. In this position, they collaborate with multiple teams to create cohesive and impactful visual communications across various mediums. Boryana ensures that all assets align with the company's brand and vision. Boryana is involved in conceptualizing and executing design ideas in a highly collaborative environment.
Boryana Mileva completed their education in a chronological order. In 2011, they obtained the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment. From 2012 to 2016, they attended Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in English Philology. In 2015 and 2016, they acquired a Professional Qualification in Graphic Design from DeviseExpert. Lastly, from 2018 to 2020, Boryana Mileva pursued a Master's degree in Media & Creative Industries at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
