Brian Walton

Product Launch Manager at Irdeto

Brian Walton has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Brian started their career in 1983 at Nortel, where they worked as a Repair Technician and Systems Tester on the Nortel DMS Product line. Brian then moved on to roles such as Installation & Commissioning Supervisor, Customer Engineering, and Market Service Readiness Leader.

In 2003, Walton became the Manager of a 12-member team at Nortel, providing product support on several VoIP products. Brian also served as the Senior Manager of a 28-member team, overseeing R&D IT Lab operations and relocation.

From 2007 to 2009, Walton worked at Nortel as the Asia IS Applications Solutions Leader and then as the Global Hardware & Supply Chain Quality - Asia Manager. In these roles, they managed teams and focused on support for corporate business applications and hardware quality issues.

After leaving Nortel, Walton joined the International Baccalaureate Organization as an Efficiency Program Leader from 2009 to 2010. During this time, they worked as a Program Manager to drive efficiency objectives and reduce costs through process and technology improvements.

From 2011 to 2013, Walton worked at Ericsson as a Senior Project Manager, leading virtual teams in the design, development, test, and release activities for multiple GPON products.

Most recently, Walton worked at Irdeto as a Product Launch Manager, starting in 2013.

Brian Walton studied at DeVry Institute of Technology from 1980 to 1983. Brian pursued a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology with a focus on electronics.
