Samir Sahoo

Samir Sahoo has a diverse range of work experience. Samir is currently the Chief Operating Officer at IRegained Inc. since June 2019. Prior to that, they were a Co-Founder at Chai.Easy, where they developed and launched the world's first automatic chai-maker. Samir also worked at MaRS Innovation as a Technology and Venture Development Manager, overseeing the commercialization of medical device technologies. Additionally, they worked as a Business Analyst at MaRS Discovery District. Earlier in their career, Samir gained experience in marketing and product management roles at Zimmer and Microfluidic Innovations. Samir also held positions at Amazon.com, First Legion Consulting Pvt. Ltd, and Chevron. Samir holds an MBA degree with a concentration in Supply-Chain Finance and Strategy from Purdue University.

Samir Sahoo has a diverse education history. Samir completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on General Management from Purdue University Daniels School of Business between the years 2008 and 2010. Prior to that, they pursued a B.E degree in Marine Engineering from Marine Engineering and Research Institute, attending from 1998 to 2002. Samir's high school education was completed at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1992 to 1998, with a focus on Science. Additionally, Samir obtained certifications in the IBE Entrepreneurship Program from the Institute for Biomedical Entrepreneurship, Inc. in December of 2022 and in the Ivey Negotiations Program from Ivey Business School in April of 2010.
