Alexander Filonenko

Alexander Filonenko has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2006. Alexander began their career as an Engineer at Дубровник-ТСБ in 2006. In 2009, they worked as a Software Engineer at Vimpelcom. In 2010, they were an Intern at Hyundai Motor Company and in 2011 they were a Research Assistant at University of Ulsan. In 2018, they returned to ABBYY as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2019, they were an Assistant at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. In 2020, they were a Lead Developer at Софттелематика, where they were head of the computer vision research group and developed intelligent surveillance systems for road traffic monitoring. Currently, they are a Computer Vision/Deep Learning Engineer at IREX.ai.

Alexander Filonenko has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Ulsan, which they obtained from 2011 to 2018. Alexander also holds an Engineer's degree in Computer Science from the Moscow State Technical University "MAMI" (Institute of Automobile Technology and Management) which they obtained from 2006 to 2011. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Sequence Models and Convolutional Neural Networks from Coursera in 2020, Structuring Machine Learning Projects and Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization from Coursera in 2019, Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera in 2019, Python 3 Tutorial course from SoloLearn in 2018, Control of Mobile Robots from Coursera in 2013, and CS188.1x: Artificial Intelligence from edX in 2012.
