Claude Montcalm

Claude Montcalm is an experienced professional in the field of optics and materials, currently serving as Product Group Manager for Aerospace and Specialty Optics at Iridian Spectral Technologies since February 2007. Montcalm has a robust background in managing product development, account relations, and marketing for custom optical filter products, particularly within aerospace applications. Previous roles include Director of Operations and Director of Programs at Xenocs, where responsibilities encompassed leading development for x-ray optics and coordinating advanced R&D strategies. Earlier experience includes significant positions at Veeco Instruments and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, focusing on optical telecom thin film filters and defect-free photomask development for EUV lithography, respectively. Claude Montcalm holds a PhD and MSc in Energy and Materials from the Institut national de la recherche scientifique, as well as a BASc in Physics from Université de Montréal.
