Joel Thompson

Joel Thompson has extensive experience in product management and leadership roles. Joel began their career at Deloitte Consulting as a Sr. Consultant before joining Sprint-Nextel Communications, where they held various positions, including Director of Product Marketing and Director of Product Management. Joel then moved on to XM SATELLITE RADIO HOLDINGS INC as VP of Product Management and Marketing. After that, they joined Iridium, where they served as VP of Global Product Management, VP of Global Product & Application Management, and Vice President and General Manager of the Terrestrial Business Unit. Currently, they are the VP of Global Product Management & Partner Support at Iridium. In addition to their work at these companies, Joel Thompson also served as the Chairman of the Board for MSUA from 2016 to 2019.

Joel Thompson pursued their higher education from 1995 to 1997 at the Ivey Business School, which is a part of Western University. During this time, they completed a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Marketing and Finance.
