Shawn Edmondson

Shawn Edmondson, Ph.D., serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Research and Evaluation at IRIS Connect since July 2016, overseeing US operations and managing business strategy, sales, product development, and customer implementation in education. As an independent documentary filmmaker since January 2013, Shawn has produced four feature-length films focused on international motorcycle adventures. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Washington STEM, where contributions to key STEM initiatives were made, and the co-founding and growth of thereNow, a company specializing in classroom video observation systems. Shawn's early career involved significant roles in research and evaluation across various organizations, including higher education institutions and governmental grants, culminating in a Ph.D. in Psychology with a focus on Research & Evaluation Methodology from Utah State University.
