Tom Perkins

Tom Perkins is a Machine Learning Researcher at IRIS Audio Technologies since July 2022, with prior experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at One Scream, where development of audio detection algorithms for a voice-activated personal safety app was a primary focus. At One Scream, responsibilities included building core machine learning systems encompassing data collection, feature extraction, model selection, and evaluation. Tom also gained experience as an Audio-Visual Research Intern at Nuance Communications in 2020. Tom earned a Master’s degree in Electronic and Information Engineering from Imperial College London in 2021 and completed education at Ecole Jeannine Manuel from 2008 to 2017.
