Avery Conner

Avery Conner has a diverse work background that includes roles in business development, account executive, sales, news reporting, and internships. They recently worked as a Business Development Representative at IRIS Networks starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they served as an Account Executive at WKRN News 2 from October 2021 to March 2023. They also worked at WVLT, WBXX, & MyVLT as a Sales Account Executive from April 2020 to October 2021, and as a Sales Intern from January 2020 to April 2020. Additionally, Avery worked at UT Today as a News Anchor and Reporter from January 2020 to October 2021. They gained international reporting experience through an internship at Transitions Media in July 2019. Avery also interned as a News Intern at WVLT, WBXX, & MyVLT from January 2019 to May 2019. Prior to their media-related roles, Avery worked as a Community Assistant at The Retreat at Knoxville from July 2017 to February 2018, where they had responsibilities in leasing and maintenance assistance for student off-campus housing.

Avery Conner completed their undergraduate education from 2016 to 2020 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. They obtained a degree in Journalism and Electronic Media, specializing in Broadcast Journalism. Avery also acquired a certification in "Cold Calling: The First Seven Seconds" from LinkedIn in April 2023.
