Manager Specialised Operations And Coastguard Aviation at Irish Aviation Authority

Ronan Verling is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in both civilian and military operations. Currently serving as Manager of Specialised Operations and Coastguard Aviation at the Irish Aviation Authority since February 2017, Ronan also holds the title of Flight Operations Inspector. Previously, from January 2016 to January 2017, Ronan was the Officer Commanding No 1 Operations Wing in the Irish Defence Forces, overseeing Fixed Wing operations and managing personnel and equipment. Moreover, Ronan worked for the Irish Government from November 1989 to January 2017 in various managerial capacities, including Base Commander and Officer Commanding No 5 Support Wing, focusing on strategic planning, HRM, and operational safety at a military airbase. Ronan's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations from Technological University Dublin, a Master's degree in Leadership Management and Defence Studies from Maynooth University, and a Diploma in Irish Language from University College Dublin.
