PARC
Oishik Sen is a Research Scientist at PARC since June 2022, specializing in computational methods and material/flow science with a focus on diverse applications, including biological systems and multiphysics systems. Prior to this role, Oishik served as a Research Scientist and Lecturer at the University of Iowa from January 2019 to June 2022, where Oishik developed a unique computational modeling framework for the US Army Research Lab and taught a graduate-level course on Turbulent Flows. Oishik's earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Scholar position at the University of Iowa Mechanical Engineering, where novel computational fluid dynamics algorithms were developed. Oishik holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa, a Master’s degree from Michigan State University, and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut.
