Alannah Hopkin is a seasoned freelance writer and book reviewer with extensive experience in various literary capacities. Since March 2000, Alannah has contributed to the Irish Examiner, while also serving as a Workshop Coordinator at University College Cork/Munster Literature Centre since August 2013, leading creative writing workshops, including those focused on ghost and horror stories. Alannah's publishing credentials include works such as "Eating Scenery: West Cork, the People and the Place," released by The Collins Press in 2008, and "The Ship of Seven Murders," co-authored with Kathy Bunney in 2010. In addition, as a writer and researcher for Fodor's Travel Publications since 1995, Alannah has documented and reviewed destinations across several counties in Ireland. Alannah holds an M.A. in Sociology of Literature from the University of Essex and a degree in English Language and Literature from Queen Mary College, University of London.
