Joe McNamee

Joe McNamee is a seasoned food writer and journalist currently serving as the Senior Food Writer for the Irish Examiner since April 2022, where responsibilities include restaurant reviews, columns, and in-depth analyses on food production and hospitality, particularly focusing on sustainability and environmental challenges. Joe's extensive experience includes roles as a Production Journalist for the Irish Examiner and other publications, Deputy Arts Editor, and Features Writer. Prior to these positions, Joe operated Giuseppe Design & Communication as a Graphic Designer and Print Specialist and served as a European Print Project Manager at Apple Computer. Joe holds a Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Arts from Munster Technological University and a Diploma in Magazine Design and Production from the London College of Printing.
