Peter Dowdall is an experienced horticultural professional and television presenter with a diverse background in gardening. Since January 2009, Peter has served as the gardening presenter on RTE's flagship daytime programme, RTE Today, and has presented numerous gardening shows, including two series of How to Create a Garden. Peter contributes as a gardening columnist for both the Irish Examiner and The Irish Garden magazine. In addition to media roles, Peter is a horticultural tutor at Education and Training Boards Ireland, teaching the RHS Certificate in Principles of Horticulture. Radio expertise includes providing gardening advice on C103 in Cork. Previous positions include consulting for the Pavilion Garden Centre and managing Dunsland Garden Centre. Peter's education in horticulture began at Merrist Wood College, complementing a long-standing commitment to promoting and enhancing gardening practices in Ireland.
