Bernadette mc Carthy

Bernadette Mc Carthy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Bernadette started their career in 2000 at PwC as an Assistant Audit Manager and worked there until 2004. In 2006, they joined Irish Life as an Assistant Manager in Financial Reporting and later progressed to roles such as Project Manager, Finance Manager, Finance Strategy Manager, and Senior Strategy & Finance Manager. Most recently, they hold the position of Head of Strategy - Financial Planning at Irish Life, starting in November 2021.

Bernadette McCarthy completed a Bachelor of Science in Food Business at University College Cork from 1995 to 1999. Bernadette then pursued a Diploma in Accounting at Technological University Dublin from 1999 to 2000. Following this, they obtained ACA - Chartered Accountant certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland from 2000 to 2003. In 2014 to 2016, they attended LIA to earn a Professional Diploma in Financial Advice focused on Financial Advice.
