Daithí Ó Lionáird

Daithí Ó Lionáird has a diverse work experience in various roles within the IT industry. Daithí started their career at Friends First as a Business Analyst in 2006 and worked there until 2007. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. as a Business Consultant and then as an IT Analyst. In 2012, they joined IPSI as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst, and in 2014, they worked as a QA Engineer at Fenergo and as a Senior QA Engineer at Irish Life. Daithí then moved on to Zurich Life Assurance plc (Ireland) in 2015 as a System Analyst on a contract basis. Finally, since 2016, Daithí has been working at Irish Life as a Lead QA Analyst.

Daithí Ó Lionáird completed a Postgraduate Diploma in International Development at Maynooth University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Forensic Science and Technology from Dublin City University in 2008. Daithí also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Computing from the Technological University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus, completed in 2006. Before their bachelor's degree, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from the same institution between 2001 and 2005. Daithí also possesses additional certifications in various fields, including PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training, Certified Selenium Tester, SoapUI Pro Certification, Duolingo Spanish Fluency, and a Certificate in Python Programming.
